Onze initiatieven Painting For Afrika We hebben enkele invloedrijke persoonlijkheden aangesproken met de vraag om een kunstwerk te schilderen. Die werken zullen later op verschillende tentoonstellingen te zien zijn en worden daarna verkocht op veilingen om de verzending van pc’s naar secundaire scholen in Afrika te financieren. Het is vanzelfsprekend dat de verkoop van objecten van en door deze personen een belangrijke bron van inkomsten vormt voor caritatieve hulp. Elk kunstwerk bevat de eigenheid/kenmerk van elk van deze personen en hun overtuigend engagement geeft zin aan ons project. De beroemdheden komen uit verscheidene milieu’s: politiek, media, sport, cultureel... Dit is de belgo-belgische versie van het project PaintingForAfrika. In dit geval hebben we de 100 (contactpersonen?) van Belgie gevraagd om hun talent uit te drukken bij een kunstwerk. De eerste tentoonstelling is voorzien voor de lente 2010 in Brussel.
